Nature of Love

Let me tell you a story ~
As soft climes of pleasure
Soothe my heart delightfully
Temperate months unfurl
Cold winter is evermore remote
Setting in motion
Days of light and enjoyment
Night becomes a curtain call.

Indolent twilight
Lovers stroll at midnight hour
Dawn becomes a benediction
As lucent golden rays hover
On those who found love
Serene in their sleep
Unaware of a new day.
