Nature In Her Glory

The meadow's flowers early now do wake
Not May but April's time for tulip's bloom
Nature in her glory, a deep bow takes

Lilacs' fragrance waft out toward azure lakes
Orange daffodils spread out in vale and spume
The meadow's flowers early now do wake

Deep-red roses perk up on vines and stakes
Bright peonies burst forth in scents perfumed
Nature in her glory, a deep bow takes

Lilies of the valley, dainty teacups make
Purple irises soar upward, earth's plumes
The meadow's flowers early now do wake

Soft winds do rolling grasses tender shake
Dark clouds of rain o'er green landscapes loom
Nature in her glory, a deep bow takes

Rich panoply of colors in costume
Spring's essence tastes as sweet as honey cake
The meadow's flowers early now do wake
Nature in her glory, a deep bow takes

I like the imagery you have put down into a pretty poem about flowers, grasses, meadow and spring. Clapping here.

Loved reading about nature's glory. It's very rich and studded with rainbow colors and their essence. -Smita

Hello Gershon ... your poem is so vibrant with all the colours of a positive scenery. I wonder if a rainbow draws this beauty to share across the land - thank you Gershon - Lindsay
