Nature
She sends light and warmth on the breath of Spring,
the seasons, obedient to Her call;
Nature's the mother, for whom the birds sing.
Commanding the clouds and the rains they bring:
ensuring the forests grow straight and tall;
She sends light and warmth on the breath of Spring,
She summons storms and the lightning they fling,
from a raging gale, to a gentle squall:
Nature's the mother, for whom the birds sing.
Unfreezing Winter, where icicles cling,
and snowflakes, conceal the colors of Fall:
She sends light and warmth on the breath of Spring,
Shaping the Sun into a golden ring,
and buffing the Moon to a glowing ball:
Nature's the mother, for whom the birds sing.
She's everywhere, nourishing everything:
while draped in misty droplets like a shawl.
She sends light and warmth on the breath of Spring,
Nature's the mother, for whom the birds sing.
