Native Alien

Native Alien, he's a different sort of man.
He's never really known how to do what he can.
Born in pure joy that sustained him as a boy.
Twenty years passed and he just ran.

Native Alien, he's here, but he doesn't belong.
Born with a birthright that just felt wrong.
Reach out your arms, and show him you care.
Open your heart and let him know someone is there.

Native Alien, he'll never ask you for much.
He burns so hot, can only bear a gentle touch.
He's traveled so far just trying to find a home.
Fighting his fear that he was just born to roam.

Native Alien, lost within the existance of his skin.
Lives his life believing in goodness and sin.
Chapters get written and chapters get read.
But he's never really certain just what's in his head.

Native Alien, a little bit of him in all of us.
Everytime your passion wanes and you don't want to make a fuss.
Don't forget to say your daily prayer.
Just look around, Native Aliens everywhere.
