Today is your birthday many will hold you near Instead of celebrating I'm holding back these tears I miss you everyday but today it hits me more Losing a true friend someone that I adored I wish that you were celebrating surrounded by your kids I often feel there pain and know your truly miss I guess I'll light a candle and say a special prayer I'll think of happy thoughts and times that we have shared I want to thank you Nancy for being in my life Even though your no longer here I hold you close inside Happy Birthday Nancy I yell this out with pride For even though your body is gone your spirit never dies
