Nameless
I see her in the corner,
Standing there,
Laughing, dancing,
Singing without a care.
But still,
When my gaze meets hers,
I feel nothing, it seems,
No butterflies flown free,
No soft sailing into dreams.
Even so,
I watch her intently,
Long to speak to her, talk to her,
Hold her ever so gently.
Why then,
Do I simply walk away,
Resolving to dream of her
Some other day.
