NAKED TEARS

Girl., get up from your bed
Of demise and shame
Wipe your face of sorrow
Show your hope bears His name

Curl your hair, dress in green
Put makeup on your face
Prepare your cracking voice
To belt out His glorious praise

Yield not to trite feelings
That offers a ride down rocky slopes
You've been through graves
But rise again, holding despair's ropes

No one can take you down
You are anointed to conquer every devil
You are here to show forth TRUTH
Making all grounds fully level

No, woman warrior who wins
You are not ever allowed naked tears
The little ones are not equipped to view
The one who restores has her own fears

...and needs time to grieve
