Naked Point of View

A naked point of view
Looked past to see among the few
The children in the sky
Parading fear in a tower built with lies

So tall to stand with god
But I still see the reflections that they lost
So small to feel cared
The tower's children throwing us despair

The small refuse to fade
In resolve they govern and repave
The tall fall down to earth
Looking up, they see what they’re now worth

The battles lost and won
Each side trading the pointed gun
It ends when we’ve all gone
Only then can we measure all the wrongs

A naked point of view
Cast aside to replace with thoughts of you
The children in the sky
Why oh why must you torment me with your lies?
