Nailed My Nail

A hammer is a wonderful servant or a cruel master
Can finish a job or create a disaster
All depends on how you use it
Just strike true and don't abuse it

Slammed my hammer onto my thumb
Cant believe I've been so dumb
I'm old enough to know
You have to swing fast but aim slow

I knew at once it was a classic fail
The instant it smashed my nail
Hurt so good it made me dance
Ran in a circle and peed my pants

So my thumb is now as big as my big toes
I guess that's the way it goes
All the while knowing
You gotta know where that hammer's going

Just because I had a bunch or beer
I had nothing to fear
Because I am an expert at using that tool
While drinking and acting the fool

Good advice, Timothy~ "swing fast but aim slow". And stay away from your thumb.
