Myworstenemy

I live in Misery, it's my best friend and only friend, it breaks me down and breathes me in. Misery tells me everything you won't, it walks, it talks, it sleeps. In the end alls just a shadow, a dark place i run and hide with It brings out the worst in me, and that brings you pure joy. It lurks within me with every step and every breath, it buries me deeper and deeper until i have no room to move, no way to get out and take a grasp of light. It feeds on my pain and tears taking in every memory we had, all the laughs, and every smile. In the end none of it meant a thing. So as we fall, and crumble to pieces, I thank you, Misery. You are what keeps me up at night, the reason i feel so dead. You crush me with your thoughts, you stab me with your words. For you are Misery, what looms inside of me and with my last tear I can finally say goodbye.
