Mystique Bond

Due to cold, lost my interest of going out, Nasty biting wind was throwing its sharpened clout. Sat in my broad living room looking at the porch, Enthralled watching a little sparrow flew with lurch. Soaked in snow and tapping the wet wings to keep warm. In its beak, found the hard earned bits of little swarm, Reached her cozy nest; to her dearest little chicks, Saw her feeding into tiny beaks with quick flicks. Greatly astonished was I at her great concern. What a mystique bond! not too easy to discern. Winter Wonders within Nature Poetry Contest Sponsored by: M. L. Kiser Date: 18-01-2022
