Mystical Word Magic

                         Flower~~~ The Chinese Rose
               

                            10/30/2023



                   Words do not impress me at all.
                   Unless, they have a truly, human call.
                   Some, you dust with moonbeams!
                   Such poems inspire my dreams.

                   Some of your words, soft as the tone of a waterfall.
                   Others,like a pine tree, tall,with operatic bird calls.
                   So keep, penning, in the style which you do desire.
                   It’s your candidness, that is my most primary desire!

For one thing I don’t pen much hilarity. Nor do I pen fiction or stories. So in my case when I say “candid”,I mean they are coming &4rom my experiences with reality. Take my poetry about Roger Ebert, “ A Bar on North Avenue”. That was no fiction. No when I wrote tribute to some poets? Hardly , fiction. I prefer reality poetry, it’s real. I wrote to you about today. I wrote those out of desperation. Like., I am not here to be loved popular, hugged or win a thing! I come here to express truth, kind of boring, huh! I think so. I think some poets just like to impress us with their words. First of all, they’re not their words! They did not create them..someone else did centuries ago. I just need something simple to read for my thick head. Frankly, it drives me nuts.. There will be a very simple pond and they carry on for nine sentences, Total boorishness. If you read Dickinson, Robert frost white like that.. not even Shakespeare. Some People here comment like they are Shakespeare, or better than him.. arg, Double arg. There is a nice little simple poem with a big octopus of words sitting on it.. got the picture? I’m just trying to be funny. But words from the heart a lot better than words from the brain..acting so really intelligent but infinitely boring. I don’t mean you.. they know who they are.. the word octopus. )) Pangie
