Mystery of Love

My mind is curious and my heart wants to
know,
What is love? I thought I had found it, yet,
where did it go?
Love is so mysterious. It's like the darkest
depths of the sea,
It can be the chains that bind you or the
miracle that sets you free,
I can torture your very being, for which,
there's no release;
Or it can silence your inner chaos and guide
you to your peace,
It's sharp as a dagger with the power to kill,
It's medicine to your soul with the power to
heal,
It's light and it's darkness at the very same
time,
Haven't you heard the saying love can leave
us blind?
People fall in love every single day,
The scariest part it doesn't stay that way,
I can't wrap my mind around it and, maybe, I
never will;
I keep questioning myself and how I really
feel,
I know love can be beautiful but I've also felt
it's pain,
It's been so bittersweet. My sunshine and
my rain,
Is there a special someone dreaming of me
too,
Maybe I'll find them someday, if, I only knew
