Myself

Have you ever had to hide yourself 
Inside yourself to find yourself
Ever cried to yourself 
All by yourself to find yourself
Ever tried to get to know yourself
To really find yourself
All night I sit by myself
All by myself
Cry to myself
Sigh to myself
Cause I’ve found myself
My peace of mind
I need to find
The true meaning of my thoughts
Cause all my thoughts seem to be of you
Can this be true
My soul is you
I shield myself 
I leave myself
I’ve freed myself
I am myself
I’ve lost myself 
You make me want to find myself
I try to send myself 
To a mental paradise
To find myself
But I’m not by myself
I seem to walk inside myself
A beautiful being beside myself
Smaller footprints inside mineself
A warm smile beside myself
It’s your scent beside myself
I run to hide myself
Lose my heart inside myself
Want to let you fall into myself
Open my chest and put you inside myself
Now I see myself
I am really myself
I can be myself
You’ve helped me find myself
I am no longer by myself
Don’t have to look inside myself
To find someone to stand by myself
All because you let go of your fears and stand beside myself.
