My Young Boy

If only I could have saved you
If only the truth wasn't true
I wish I could have done something to help
I know you felt a lot of pain and no one listened they yelled
I'm sorry you went the way you did
I love you as if u were my kid
I saw great things in that little boy
He was angry but held so much joy
The world may never get to a chance to see you grow
I still can't let any of my love for u go
Your memories will always be with me
It still hurts even tho your in a better place now free
I can't even explain how I felt to see you there
I swear I thought I died and disappeared
My heart still aches even now that you've been gone
I try everyday to keep going on
You made me think how life really is
You never know when you will no longer live
Give or take we all must go
Thats true I know
Theres one thing I did do before u went
It was a hug and a kiss with so much love in it
So rest in peace my young one
Soon my day to shall come

I love you Kevin R.I.P
