My Wrecking Ball Lover

Be kind to yourself - don't commit no selfish crimes I'm nice to myself at times...I treat myself with neglect sometimes Worn out like a pair of jeans You already spilled out the beans You knocked me over with your wrecking ball You didn't catch me as I made my final freefall You wrecked me up with your wrecking ball I tried to stand tall, but you ruined me and all I was running out of time before you know it I was walking on thin ice as I see fit bit by bit I couldn't keep up with your pace It was so fast right in front of my face You knocked me over with your wrecking ball You didn't catch me as I made my final freefall You wrecked me up with your wrecking ball I tried to stand tall, but you ruined me and all In loss of words, but I'll be okay Released several birds out of their cage today Worn out like a flock of seagulls As angry and determined as a billion bulls You knocked me over with your wrecking ball You didn't catch me as I made my final freefall You wrecked me up with your wrecking ball I tried to stand tall, but you ruined me and all I was running away from my nightmarish fears Looked at myself in the reflection of a million mirrors I couldn't quite see who was around But, I'm bound to be above ground You knocked me over with your wrecking ball You didn't catch me as I made my final freefall You wrecked me up with your wrecking ball I tried to stand tall, but you ruined me and all Be gentle to yourself - you'll thank yourself in a bit I'm in love with the solace of my solitude - I must admit Worn out like crumbled paper in the breeze I'm slowly swinging like a wrecking ball at ease You knocked me over with your wrecking ball You didn't catch me as I made my final freefall You wrecked me up with your wrecking ball I tried to stand tall, but you ruined me and all You wrecked me... You didn't catch me... You knocked me over... My wrecking ball lover
