My Words

If my words can touch your heart,
It would be the place to start.
If my words can make you smile,
My job would seem worthwhile.
If I can bring laughter or a tear,
Or make you stand up and cheer.
If my words can make you feel,
Or somehow make you heal.
If my words can impact,
For something that you lack.
The message I want to convey,
I hope my words make your day.
