My Words

These are just words
More plentiful than
Birds and ants building
Nests and anthills

Crowd them with feelings
Written to bathe
Ceaselessly with
Sunshine and rain fed
Into flowering feelings
To caress your lonely
Mind my words

Are who I am
Meant to build
Castles in sand I’ll
Wash up grain by grain
On some exotic beating
Beach swim in my words

Float on clouds called
Nine ways to bind our minds
Words equivalent to that first
Rain drop on a hot day
These are my words

My protection
Answers to questions
We’re all too afraid to ask
The reasons and the masks
We all wear burdens and scars
We all carry on our souls
My words are a glimpse

Into my soul the suns which
Shine light revolving around
A world few get to walk in
My green feelings hand
In hand with my words
Don’t just exist

They must be inspired
To be my words
To be me…
