My Women

My daughters have captured what used to be a wild heart
My wife had tamed it and made it see the very truth
Reserving it a new strength as if then owned by youth
Taking it from a cold life and creating a brand new start

My eyes have since opened to the world even wider
I have been taught to see the light of each new day
Because of love given freely that’s always on display
I learned to embrace the women in my life even tighter
