My Wick

I’ve dipped my wick into the sea
You take your pick on what that be
What I can do I can do it well
If I get injured then I will swell
How can you know if you are liked
When who you meet just might get psyched
My friends I treat with food and drink
Makes a much better mood to think
To entertain or just have fun
Its not in vain a friend was won
Some friends will come and some will go
The friends that stay are true you know
Some friends are gone but not by choice
And some just long to hear your voice
I’ve dipped my toes in can’t you see
Each one by one I did for free
Its not my wick and not the sea
But its still fun don’t you agree
