My White Miss Must
My white Miss must
catch a whole lot of Jane grapevine grief
for mistletoe swinging
with a silverback Greystoke ape like me
My dreamy Snow White Miss must
take a deep sleep dive
of altered merged skin perception
Such a divine pillow place of hate deprivation
My evergreen white Miss must
give a thousand gentle tone
prickly pine cone rebuffs
Simply elegant snowflake touches of love
My glistening Snow White Miss must
heavy metal deal with so much
social rejection and hollow days negativity
But her gift of heart-melting, forgiving ease has made a better man of me
My white Miss must
always be given twenty-five hours of my sun day
She deserves a little extra
fireplace loving as our winter light fades to gray
