My Wall

My lies dwindle in the making
My fear still too close for faking
My sins are nothing but a memory
I repent, but still I will fall
I close in my walls

My love will take away my feelings
My pride will scratch at my love healing
My hate is still telling me to leave you
I fade, whilst I still hold on
Riddles and songs

My mind twisted by the darkness
My soul believes that it is worthless
My heart continues to direct me
I stand, all too alone
My wisdom has grown

My wrath begins to overcome me
My lust deceives whatever could be
My doubt pulls myself together
This pain - the sobering pill
I come closer still

My death continues to elude my
Denial, forever saying goodbye
To love, my mirror and my close ones
My path, I continue to crawl
Breaking these walls
