My Vows

I ask you to become part of me
Heart body and soul
Together to be forever
As through this life we go

I long to love and cherish you 
With very beat of my heart
Never allowing a thing in this world 
To ever tear us apart

I’ll always share my thoughts with you 
And listen to every word you have to say
Sharing together what we feels best
Will always be our way

I’ll be your shoulder to lean on 
You can always count on me
Protecting you and keeping you safe
The way It was intended to be

To reassure you through the hard times
With tender love and care
So that you will never doubt
That I will always be there

And although I am not perfect
I’ll be as perfect as I can
So, you will be proud of me
And claim me as your man

So, take me as I am
I’ll make you happy as can be
Enjoying a life together
Throughout eternity
