My Valentine

My valentine,my India!
Am grateful,
For infinite love you showered,
For long journeys we traversed,
For tender care you encased me in.
I gift you,
My sacrifice in your embrace,
To shield your honour and purity,
From insane eyes.
Hope you,
In your heart,
Remember me forever.
                    - Yours only
                       Soldier
