My Valentine

My Valentine…. My funny Valentine… You are so fine In that dress the color of white wine. We’ve been through trials and tribulations, And we’re still in this bad situation… You’ve already said your vows… And you still expect me to knock it down. But you know I can’t leave you disappointed, My tricks make your body double-jointed. But I ask myself “Are you my valentine”… I’m just saying I’m in a different motion Learned to keep my options open And I’ve been doing that for a while You cheated and I was heated When you said you wanted to have my child. But I’ve looked on, Singing a new song, Searching for that perfect 10… The search is still on, I’m tired of being alone, Talked to a couple of friends. After a few weeks, We’ve been cool for a while, And I like her style, Our deep friendship, my minds starts to test it… I was caught up by staring into her eyes, And I was mesmerized, Giving samples of my affection… I can’t make many moves yet, Some people would be upset, But she brings out the best of me, But I’m letting it go, She will never know, But I’ll always wonder could it be… As I look back at you, Doing what you do, In that dress the color of white wine… Staring into your eyes, I finally realize, You are NOT my valentine…
