MY VALENTINE

Valentine’s Day brings a fond trace
A certain way your soul binds grace
In your deep eyes my darling dear
A pulse, a sigh frames love right here

Poise in pure voice brings joy that stays
With lovely choice in light of day
Here for a while the moments style
A touch worthwhile that clusters smiles

In space and time a special touch
Make mime and rhyme with words as such
So many years have bridged the gap
To draw you near in love’s mind map
~~~~~~~~~
Change has come round with ageing pains
Still on these grounds joy bears all strain
In language plain a succinct feel
Knows love that gains a deeper thrill

Faith gathers hope in love’s full sway
To sculpt fine scope each brand new day
We’ve come so far as each year tints
Our lucky stars with textured mint
~~~~~~~~~
Our journey quest upon these streets
With work and rest our story greets
How time has flown with dreams of yore
The winds have blown our ample shores
~~~~~~~~~
Change is the way as time moves on
To sketch new play a tale beyond
So style a smile my darling dear
To brave a while touch that endears
~~~~~~~~~
In heat and thaw let joy breathe high
The truth made raw in lasting sighs
And as we walk now hand-in-hand
Know that death stalks that abrupt end
~~~~~~~~~
Love is the way to live each day
With joy that strays upon our way
Dear Valentine, my love, my friend
Let my love lines shape happy trends
~~~~~~~~~
With mind and heart we live one whole
End as we start to live with soul
The way joins fest to live full feel
Love flavours best fond touch that thrills
~~~~~~~~~
May all our days be filled with grace
Grace shows the way as light funds face
Dear Valentine: my soul mate dear
Now yours and mine deep mystic cheer
