My Unfinished Chapter
Days and miles pass by
All routines get by
Some smooth, some rough
Bittersweet, just enough.
But this void remains,
Memories with murky stains
Reminiscing you
When I don't want to.
Those brown eyes
Sparkled so mischievous,
Bursting into giggles
At ever joke I fumbled.
We were silly and chaotic,
But acted elegant and poetic.
Miss us being absurd,
Thick-headed and wayward.
Embarrassing those with us
Making those around, envious.
These words remain forever
Unsaid, my unfinished chapter,
As I fail to answer why
You left without goodbye.
