My Uber Ride
my undependable jalopy broke down on Halloween night
on a dark spooky road with nary a sliver of light
I got on my phone and called an Uber, hoping one was near
pretty soon a loud knock on my window I hear
It was a black cat riding a tiny broom
I have come to give you a ride, she said, and soon
I have a tight schedule, so come on, my dear
But I did not fit, because I have a corpulent rear
