My Twitching Fingers

My twitching fingers
recoil from the sizzling bang
stealing the lightning

LOL That's why I was afraid to play with fireworks, Gerard -- the sizzling bang and twitching fingers scared me as a kid. When you spoke of Manasquan in your comment to me, I realized we grew up in close proximity. I was raised in the Jersey Shore, too, and my late husband and I lived in Point Pleasant. Also want you to know that I love your sense of humor. As a limerick lady, you are one of my favorite writers and I do love Nat King Cole! Love and blessings, Carolyn

This sounds like the fingers of Zeus throwing a bolt of lightning. I can see the finger clearly. Hopefully, it was on the firing range, or while deer hunting. Great job! Joseph
