My Twisted Love

my heart pumps with desire
everytime you are near
only hearing your voice
gives me so much cheer

I am overwrought with emotion
everytime I speak your name
you twisted my world around
and I will never be the same

I have such a thirst and hunger
for your sweet kisses and your touch
but it's the warmth I feel inside of you
that I crave so much

no matter how blue I feel
you give me such a smile
just knowing you are there
with me all the while

I wish I could make you feel
what you do to me
how you make me smile inside
and how you've helped me heal

thank you my friend
for giving me your hand
no matter how twisted I become
I know you'll be there til the end

thank you for your love
