My Truest Vessel

Trapped, is the love
flowing in my heart
If you chose me
that would be smart.

I would hold you
honor and obey
Bringing you happiness
which would stay.

My hopes lie within
this lonely soul
Having much love to give
beyond all control.

Held captive by the pain
many put me through
Still, I wait for someone
who will be true.

In hopes for the day
together we nestle
This heart it shall remain
my truest vessel.
