My True Story

I lay awake at night
I be scared to close my eyes
Sometimes I wonder where I left myself
I lost myself at times
And the nights melt into morning
Still I be cold beneath the sun
And the joy in me is subciding
And im too scared to run
Every once in a while
There's always someone that try to put me down
Every time
Somewhere deep in my heart
A little faith lies inside
But I know God is by my side
All the time
Some can see
I got a lot to dream
But there's more than dreams
In me
When that angel landed his broken wings
And moved me with his eyes
The fear that comes to surround my heart
Unravels as he smiles
See I grew up with lots of tears
But I learned to keep the faith
No, I wont give up tomorrow
Cause Ima come to life
Again
