My Tree

My Tree

                                           Tree!
                               The tree of evergreen
                            Leaves are green to thee
                         Birds sing from some boughs
Flowers bloom forth in swirl patterns
                      And bees buzz musically round
I look upon thee – swaying
                                 By the drifting wind
                                       I love thee–
                                         towering
                                        That Looks
                                         upward
                                       and Beyond–
                                       the symbol
                                       of renewal
