My Time For Sleep

The doctor told me what I knew,
I was given information, statistics, charity offers,
I had knew this for some time,
My doctor's visit was secret,
No-one knew, but me,
I kept it that way.

My wife left this morning in a panic,
Some sort of meeting, I think,
I made our parting was special: more than normal:
I spoke true feelings,
Honesty,
She still rushed,

I chose the bottle of wine I had lived with,
It sat on the top shelf,
With obedience,
The glass I drunk from was expensive,
The wine tasted true,
Although a lot of other things were in it,

I wrote text for people,
It was on the doormat,
Not to be missed,
Instructions,
Feeling,
Sincerity.

I am now in bed,
I am peaceful,
I will have no more of this,
It's too much for us all,
I think I will now sleep now,
Sleeping with peace
