My Thoughts of You

As I sit HERE,
in deep thought, contemplating on my dreams and FEARS.

Torn between my happiness and TEARS.
Happy because of who you ARE.
My midday shining STAR.

My early morning COFFEE
My late SUPPER.
My everyday breakfast, lunch, and DINNER.

Realizing with you I’m forever a WINNER!
You’ve been there before I looked TWICE,
At your outside PERFECTION.
Before I notice you were my REFLECTION.

You have been present during some of my worst TIMES.
You have helped eased my troubled MIND.
You prevented me from pursuing, 
some of my hideous thoughts of CRIMES.
You always gave an ear to listen to my extravagant RHYMES.
You kept this forgotten soldier in LINE.

All in the name of LOVE.
You are my Noah’s DOVE.
You are my fallen angel from ABOVE.

It took me over a YEAR,
To finally read this poem you now HEAR..
I know LATELY,
I’m been doing things for you to HATE ME.
MAYBE!
BABY!
I’m SCARED!
From saying things or doing ACTIONS,
I’ve never dreamed of or DARED!
To do ANYWAY.
Never forget love can’t be SAID.
Because, the meaning of love, is beyond thoughts in our human HEADS.
But it must be LIVED.
For you cannot take love nor can you GIVE,
Nothing that has to be CHERISHED!

Love is felt with every argument, fight, hug and KISS!
