My Thoughts Are Maimed

My thoughts are maimed
Pictured moments untainted and framed
Every scene chronologically sequenced
To the epic memory, a prison in which I am sentenced
Blessed, I forget I am
Constantly polluting my body with sickness
Enveloping frothing in its thickness
Causing illness they are parasites
That paralyze the host
Eat any self conscious, most
Of all planting paranoia and delusion
Into the mindset of a girl with no confusion
About who she is, who she is to become
Where her goals like and her fears are none
Where the past has passed
And the future awaits knowing one

Nokwanda I like your honesty in this piece - we all admit to maimed hearts but never minds. Not my place to critique but I wondered if you used untainted mistakenly in place of tainted? it just seems like a contract for thoughts to be maimed and then suddenly pure/untainted

My thoughts are maimed, but in the next sentence I am talking about the memories that were perfect and untainted by my maimed thoughts. Your advice is appreciated, dont worry.
