My Take For Today

As military medical personnel and National Guard troops from every state and territory deploy to fight COVID-19, we are all so grateful (I am much more grateful because I have two daughters on the front line and other adopted daughters who called me papa too). We know that battling against this virus, they are facing dangerous conditions. Their families know it too. They are living with that same anxiety — that feeling in the pit of their stomach — that won’t go away until their loved ones are out of harm’s way. The last several weeks have been some of the most challenging moments that we have ever faced. But in the midst of all the fears, anxieties, and uncertainty, please remember that Christ died, was buried and rose from the grave and now He at the right-hand side of God the Father. And it’s Easter time that we are celebrating! A perfect time for hope, rekindling of faith, renewal of spirit and rejoicing in the triumph of the Lord Jesus Christ. His reconciliation has restored our relationship with the Father. According to the Scripture, we are no longer condemned but redeemed through His blood. For the law of the Spirit of Christ Jesus has MADE us FREE from the law of sin and death. For when we mine the things of the Spirit, we can call those things that be not as though they were. Please, don’t get me wrong, we have a work to do and the Holy Spirit which He sent, is here to help us to get through this challenge we face. And we together are more than conquerors through Him that loves us. So let us all together keep our military worker, National Guard troops and other workers who are on the front line in our prayers. This is my take for today.
