My Sword, My Soul

You are trapped between two worlds, How else can you define the path to enlightenment but as a prison? You advocate for peace only after the war-banner unfurls, How else can be harmony be achieved if not by the quelling of dissent? You hoard knowledge of the cosmos leaving the masses ignorant, How else can the truth be preserved if not through preservation? You swear fealty to a nation yet insist you're indifferent, How else can unity be realized if not by organization? You persecuted my people and banished them to the darkness, How else might purity be maintained if not through cleansing? You apathetic worm, answer for your actions! How is a man on trail for a wound when he is the one mending.
