My Sweet Dreamer

Every swallow, has its day,
every crow at one point flies
But you, my sweet dreamer,
All you do is cry

So run away sweet dreamer
Run away and hide
Do not let them see where you went
Do not tell them you’ve lied.

Hold on to every memory
Grasp them tight my dear
For soon, my sweet dreamer
Your mind won’t be so clear

So run away my sweet dreamer
Run away from your tears
Hide away in darkness
Do not expose your fears

Hold my hand in day light
Walk with me to the night
When my sweet dreamers
With me, it feels all to right

And every swallow has its day
Every crow at one point flies
And now my sweet dreamer
You no longer hide.
