My Sweet Alibi

My sweet alibi-
that hides beyond my smiles
But every time you hold me near
I conquer even my biggest fear

Shadows in the dark their was I
Searching for the answer I couldn't help but cry
Life with no existence I learned to live
In your eyes that once make believe

My love for you was never a lie
A feeling so strong as time goes by
But for now-I choose to smile
to wear my mask and alibi

For it is my only shield
Afraid that soon-your love would fade
