My Super Hero Friends

Let me tell you about
My super hero friends
They are quite special
Their power never ends

Others may not see them
As I see they are the best
I see their capes flapping
Flying way above the rest

Whenever I’m in need
They are there in a zip
Ready to tackle any task
With hands on their hip

Now each of the super heroes
Carry a certain super power
There is one I can call any time
Day or night or just any hour

One has such a super smile
To pull me out of a gloomy day
Even if facing her own struggles
Her happy smile makes a way

Some will specifically fly in
Whenever I do dip down
To spiritually lift me up
With faith always around

Some help with certain things
That no one else can ever do
So thankful I can count on them
To see the job all the way through

A few of them never speak a word
They are there to stand by my side
They have that power of peace
That touches my soul deep inside

I sure want to be a super hero
Right back to each one of them
Some are truly my best friends
And some of them are even kin

I just want to say thank you 
To all of my super hero friends
For always being here for me
I know they will be to the end
