My Sunny Day

I was lost in a land far away
And I watched my feathered flower fade away
Oh! I was lost and could not find a way
 My heart was blurred as I walked on the weary way.

Under the trees I sat to take shelter all day
The falcons fly my heart into wisdom’s way;
their lyrics and rhymes becomes my hope and stay
Whenever they sit on the weakened branches to play.

Oh how did I get this painful pay?
When all my labor should have earned me gold and not clay
Oh how did I lost my body to this sick bay?
When I was born to be agile and not fragile even in the weary way.

I wondered if I can ever see my sunny day:
I lost my pen I could have written my guilt in grey
I lost my heart I could have remembered to pray,
Oh! I lost my ears I could have heard w\hat God had to say.

With all due respect Adeleke, you should really study the form before attempting it, as well as keeping an eye open for typos. The poem itself could lend itself to a villanelle but it would take a lot of work.
