My Strength

My playful moments are gone
I live in an ocean of pain an sorrows
"outcast" is what they call me
Torture is the only constant thing I know
My happiness is far-fetched
And though I live with monsters,
I have a heart that loves
And I give back love for hate
Right in a pool of pain I can feel my strength grow
Because I have heart that loves
And when hate an love meet,
Love conquers hate.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
