My Story

I have "A THING" about dying of late. I do not know why, as self-pity I hate. I am not afraid of the actual event, I know that the messenger will be heaven-sent. It's the uncertainty of not knowing. The time and day that I'll be going. It's wrong to dwell on such things, I'm in no hurry to wear wings, So I may fly away up high, To solve this mystery, when I die.

Shirley, I have almost died twice. I never thought I wanted to die, but both times I had a HUGE feeling of disappointment and loss that I had not died, so I know whatever and whenever and however it happens, you will be thrilled! I hope this helps.

It did help. I feel the same as you in the spiritual sense. There are always loose ends that you feel should be tied up before you leave this world. This is more prevalent in my mind than dying.

This brought back memories of my Mum, it was important to her that I had clean undies on to make sure she would not be ashamed of me if I had to go to hospital for some reason or another ... I don't know what she would think now as I am very forgetful !!! Your comment made me laugh, Thank you, Rico G'Day
