My Star At Night

Captured in the dusk of time
 I saw my shining light 
 His face so glorious, just so fine
 He was my star at night

 He was a beauty to behold
 His hold on me, so tight
 I never wanted him to go 
 He was my star at night

 He lavished me with so much love
 Even when I wasn't right
 He was as peaceful as a dove
 He was my star at night
