My Special Song
We became good friends
right here on the soup
true from the heart
everyone knew
Never a mean word
for those he loved
when I needed comfort
he gave me sweet hugs
Now an angel
in God's great mystery
taken away to soon
he left me to grieve
Sometimes he comes calling
when I am depressed
I miss him so much
this I confess
One special place
is his alone
in my mind and my heart
is his special song
Goodnight Moon
he would say to me
things will get better
this you will see
A poet in heaven
your special way
I will always love you
forever and a day
