My Special Rose

By chance, I saw you peeking through. Your yellow bright, in breeze you blew. Your petals soft, your beauty rare. I could not help but stop and stare. You were the first but not the last. My fragile rose you grew so fast. You came with rain and brought the spring. Your power strong, fit for a king. The sweet perfume that you possess. Does make me weak I must confess. Upon your sight I quickly froze. My lovely flower, my special rose.

Thank you so much Rockman. I look forward to reading 'The Cycle of Life.' I imagine that it's beautiful. :)

Well done in your usual magnificent fashion and rhyme. I love nature in all of it's courses. I have one called "The Cycle Of Life" if you would like to read. It's on page two of my poems and I think it relates. Thanks again for sharing. Rockman :-)
