My Soul Divided
Generous expectations of who I want to be,
are suddenly eroding, for God has plans for me.
Unknowingly I find myself reluctant to submit,
this world that we live in is full of bad intent.
Fearful that my mind and heart will go their separate ways,
He gives me assurance, I reply with praise.
Redeemed, you are free, your thoughts are now your own.
Find peace and rest in your heart, and know your not alone.
Restoration is complete through my abundant love.
Live by faith, sing my songs and find comfort from above.
