This song I'm about to sing
Has no Melody
I know that may sound strange
But in time you will see.
It's a song about the one I love
who can't be here with me.
And the one I love her name is Melody.
My song has no Melody
My Melody can't be with me
My song has no Melody....
and no matter how much I care
my Melody just can't be here.
My song has no Melody.
She's married to another,
my Melody's not free.
She says that she's unhappy
and would rather be with me,
but we both know this is wrong
not the way that it should be....

So now you know the reason
For my insanity...
and why I say this song
has no Melody.
She belongs to another my
Melody's not free.

My Melody can't be with me.

and no matter how much I care
my Melody just can't be here...

In time things may change
for Melody and me...
and then I'll sing my song
the way it's supposed to be,
but until that time I'll step aside
for the sake of harmony....
