My Son, My Child

A mother's heart, a heavy load
My first child, my love abode.
The years went by, and you grew tall
Now, the thought of life without you, I must face it all

I remember laughter, tears, and every stage
From tiny hands to a strong, brave man's page
Your smile, your voice, your eyes so bright
Forever in my heart, a beaming light

The weight of what's to come, it presses down
A timeless grief,a heart that's torn
I'll hold on tight to every moment we share
And cherish every breath, every glance, every care

From dreams of your smilling face, I wake. Now tears fall, and my heart can't hide the ache
The pain of losing you, it's hard to bear
A loss that's coming, a grief so rare

Though it's hard to let go, I'll find a way
To hold tight to these memories, night and day
For in my heart, you'll forever stay
My son, my love, my forever memory

On the 31 of October at 5am I lost my first son to gastric cancer. He fought a short but intece fight, but alas, he surrendered to what was more than he could bear. My heart burns within my chest. My two oldest children has gone to sleep. ????????????????????
